Melissa + Steve : Maternity

Another “first” for me was this maternity session that I did last month. When Melissa asked me to photograph her and her husband in this special time in their lives, I was a little nervous, because what do I know about maternity? Well that’s simple: Not much. But what I do know is that pregnancy is an absolutely miraculous thing, and so incredibly special. So that’s what I decided to focus on/try to capture in this shoot. Let me just say, I am now in love with these sessions. I know I say that about like every type of session I do, but I still mean that wholeheartedly. Maternity sessions rock.
It was so beautiful to see how much this little life has already impacted these two. Every time they talked about their little girl, they both just absolutely glowed!
Melissa and Steve are two of the most kind-hearted and hospitable people ever, and I have no doubt in my mind that they are going to make some incredibly good parents to their little baby so so soon!!
