Best of 2017

Finally getting around to making my 2017 recap post….on the last day of January 2018. No biggie.

I’m not sure where to start with recapping this past year. All I can say is that 2017 was a struggle when it came to the search for motivation. There were many times when I told myself that I was done taking photos for good, because the inspiration just wasn’t there. 

But then each time I pulled my camera out to photograph all my lovely clients, family, and friends, that inspiration returned and I remembered why I love doing this. So this post is for all of you who hired me this year to take your photos; for all of you who dealt with my annoying creative kicks and let me follow you around with my camera, and for all of you who encouraged me in my craft. Whether you realize it or not, you all challenged my creativity in ways I didn’t know were possible, and you helped me to grow not only as a creative but as a person. And for that, I thank you.
