Nate & Whitney | Minnesota Engagement

Weird to think of life Pre-COVID, right?! Even weirder when you look back to this cold + snowy engagement session and realize that this is was the last thing you did before the national quarantine began. And now summer has gone by and fall is beginning and I am just baffled at how much of a blur this year has been.

But this post is not about COVID, it’s about Nate and Whitney and their gorgeous winter engagement session. I will always have a soft spot for winter romance sessions. So cozy. And you really can never lose when there is snow on the ground…..it’s like a natural reflector and makes everyone’s skin look amaaaaaze.

We took these photos out at Whitney’s childhood home, which is connected to a huge pasture and tons of pine trees and honestly is just the perfect winter (and every season) photo spot.

These two braved the cold Minnesota day like the native Minnesotans that they are. Truth be told, I think I was struggling more than they were. And I had a coat on! They were so fun and sweet together and went along with all my ideas and it was just the best.

So happy for them, and excited for what this next chapter as husband and wife holds!
