I took Brittany and Jose’s engagement photos a few years back and absolutely loved getting to photograph them! So when Brittany asked for photos of them in their new home, I was thrilled. One of the things I love most about what I do is having the opportunity to document the many milestones of those I photograph. It is such a joy to be able to continually enter into your lives and capture memories and special moments for you!

I met them at their new home on a sunny fall day. We began with a few photographs outside in their yard and on the front stoop, and then spent the rest of the time indoors. There’s something so special about capturing photos in the place that you live. The colors of the home, the decor, the art hung, the plants, the textiles, all of it, is a reflection of those who live there. This home felt peaceful and calm yet vibrant and so beautiful, much like the two of them! I’m so excited to share some of the photos from their session with you today.
