Betty & David | Pregnancy Announcement

I received an inquiry from Betty last summer saying she and her husband David found out that they were pregnant, and they wanted to set up a session with their families to surprise them with the news. So we did exactly that!

We met at the Bahai Temple in Wilmette, IL on a beautifully sunny day. Their families arrived thinking they were just there for a regular family session. So I indulged and did a couple “regular” photos for the first few minutes of the session, and then I set them up for a full family photo, counted to three, and then out came a baby onesie from David’s back pocket saying “Can’t wait to met you.” The looks on everyone’s faces were priceless! I love that I got to be a part of something so special + that I was able to capture this moment for them to look back on for the rest of their lives.
