Summer Maternity Session | Minneapolis Motherhood Photographer

Maternity sessions are always so special, but this one was even more special since it was for my cousin Abby! We were once little girls together, and to have gotten the opportunity to photograph her and her husband as soon-to-be parents to their own little one was so surreal!

We photographed their maternity photos in the beautiful bluffs in the nearby suburbs of Minneapolis, as well as at the lake for the perfect summer vibes. It was a gorgeous summer night with the most delicious sunlight all throughout – a photographer’s dream.

They gave their little babe the nickname “Scoop” during their maternity months, so we decided to make part of their session ice cream-themed in honor of the nickname! The real kicker? Their little guy was born ON NATIONAL ICE CREAM DAY. Too perfect.
