Applequist Family

Lisa contacted me this summer asking about an extended family shoot for her in-law’s 50th anniversary. I love these types of sessions for so many reasons, one being that there are so many different relationship dynamics to capture, and so many different stories to tell.

We started our time together with some 50th anniversary couples portraits and photos of the grandchildren wearing the exact outfits that were worn on their wedding day 50 years ago-The wedding dress, the bridesmaid dress, the groom’s suit, and the going-away dress. I can only imagine how special it must have been to see those clothes that are important to them, worn by the people that are so important to them.

It was such a fun time with the Applequist family. They were a genuinely happy bunch to be around and had so much fun together. Something that is very evident in these photos!
