Took a seven hour train ride with Ricardo down to Kansas City to see my brother and sister-in-law and it was aaaawesome. Saw beautiful gardens/parks and fall colors, learned all there is to know about coffee, ate good food, watched good movies, but best of all spent some (very much craved) quality time with two awesome family members! Day trip out of the city and into the countryside of Illinois to a place called All Seasons Apple Orchard for a fall celebration consisting of pumpkin pie, apple cider donuts, corn mazes, pig races, tractor rides, apple picking, pumpkin patches, and pretty fall colors. It was a good day.

So much cuteness.

Took some of these pictures while biking and it was actually terrifying and I risked falling off my bike and looking like stupid American tourist for them, but it was too pretty so I dont even care. It was #worthit

I spent part of the first week of school documenting the freshman orientation that North Park has, called “Threshold.” And I loved it. And I got paid for it. #winning Happy back-to-school week everyone!

 Weekend trips, much needed beach/sun time, tanned skin, Krispy Kreme donuts, late nights, pedal cab rides (thanks Cam), sunsets, lots of laughs, pictures, and fun. Here’s to summer and all the goodness it brings. *insert party emoji and heart emoji here*
