Alec + Emily — 5.20.18

This post is a special one, because my best friend got married, and I got to capture it all. And although I may be a bit biased, this statement is 100% true: Emily + Alec’s wedding was STUNNING and honestly the most joyous wedding I have ever seen in my whole life. 

I met Emily my sophomore year of college through a small group bible study that we were placed in together. I truly believe that God placed the two of us in each others’ lives at the perfect moment. We decided to be roommates for the next year, and the year after that, and now, although we are no longer roomies (sad face), she is a lifelong friend of mine. She and her now husband, Alec, were high school sweethearts. Alec is also one of the kindest and most caring human beings I have met in my life, and I COULD NOT be happier for them and their new life together. Talk about a match made in heaven.

 Their wedding took place at Heritage Prairie Farm, about an hour or so outside of the city. It’s such a cute, quiet, and quaint venue surrounded by open fields. 10/10 would recommend if you’re a bride looking for a countryside venue! 

I honestly believe that even if you had no idea who Emily and Alec are, but you were at this wedding, you too would be shedding tears of happiness and sharing in their laughter, because their love for each other and joy they share is just that infectious. It’s truly a beautiful thing to witness.
