Best of 2020

2020. What. A. Year.

To be honest, I can’t even believe it’s already over. The whole year feels like a giant blur that happened so quickly but so slowly at the same time. When COVID started I remember how many uncertainties there were surrounding it. One thing I was very certain about, however, was that I wouldn’t have many (if any) photo session bookings for at least the year. And then around June I have no idea what happened but I suddenly began getting inquiry after inquiry. I started this year thinking I was done with photography for an unknown amount of time, that that door had been closed. I am ending this year with more bookings in one year than I have ever had before, and a deepened passion for what I do. There are just no words to describe my gratitude.

To every single one of you who supported me this year, be it hiring me to photograph you, encouraging me with your words, filling out a review form, referring a friend to me, sharing photos on social media and tagging me, or following my new photo instagram account when my old account was hacked, I want to say a big THANK YOU. Your support truly means the world.

I’ve been taking most of December off from photoshoots so that I can enter into 2021 feeling refreshed and ready to go. I’ve also been using this time to create this blog post, which is comprised of many favorite photos from my sessions in 2020. I hope you love these as much as I do! This slower pace has been nice, but I cannot wait to get back into it and have more of you in front of my camera!

I was so blessed by you all this past year, and I am looking forward to what’s in store for 2021. I hope to see more of you soon!
