Hans + Anna : Engagement

I got to photograph my cousin Anna and her fiancee, Hans (seriously such a cool name) a week ago and it was a blast! We met up at Jay Cooke State Park in Minnesota to take these photos, and you guys it was BEAUTIFUL (besides the intense humidity–bleh). I’ve never shot a session in pure nature before, so I absolutely LOVED this. Finding a pretty backdrop was no problem….it seemed every 2 feet there was another magical-looking little pathway, river, or green, open space.

These two are SO sweet together. The goofiness of their relationship is so fun to watch, and so hard to not get on camera. Being the photographer and watching them interact, it was so clear to me that they fill each other up with pure joy, and it was so wonderful to be able to be on the other side of the camera, capturing it all. 

Anna and Hans, you guys are such a fun couple to be around–your joy and goofiness is contagious! I can’t wait to be there documenting, witnessing, and celebrating the start of your lives together in October. 🙂
